Today was Phase I of Moving the Boy to UChicago. Took just a suitcase of stuff for Elijah to participate in Chicago Bound and dropped him at temporary housing at the International House. Total time there and back: 10.5 hours. Soon we will return for Phase II which involves bringing up all the rest of his belongings, moving him into his permanent dorm, going to orientation gatherings, meeting his roommate and others and shedding a few tears.
