Today was Twelfth Night in Egypt. Coptic Christians celebrated - TopicsExpress

Today was Twelfth Night in Egypt. Coptic Christians celebrated Christmas today. This is an ancient Byzantine hymn celebrating the birth of Christ. You will see amazing images of the places where Christ began and spent his life. You will also see some amazing icons from St. Catherines Monastery in Sinai, Egypt. You would have to traverse a steep mountain to get there. There are images of the Manger in Bethlehem at the Holy Sepluchre. This is really a very spiritual piece....Research being done in Egypt is also linking the DNA of the pyramids and Ancient Egypt to the Coptics.... Christmas blessings to all of my Coptic and Armenian friends in Egyot. ;)
