Today was a big day. For the past month Ive been writing and preparing a workshop for Years 8 & 9 boys. Today I presented this to a group of 130 young men over 6 hours. What a honour and privilege it was to teach boys about what it means to be a good man. We talked about the issues young men face and how to take control of self and back each other. There were laughs, tears, big questions, solid handshakes and silent acknowledgement. Oh, and this school is in the Barossa so Im sitting by a fire on a leather couch, glass of wine in hand feeling pretty chuffed. Nice one, life. Oh, and if what I witnessed today is any indication, the boys are alright. Theyll take care of business.
