Today was a big day for Lexi (and for us)!!! Lexi started kindergarten! It has been quite the bumpy road to get to this day and I was, quite honestly, a wreck. I had everything packed and by the door last night. We were as ready as we could be. As luck would have it, she woke up just before my alarm this morning, with a seizure. Nooooo! Not today, I thought! She had to receive a rescue med and I wasnt sure shed even make it to school today but she slept it off for about an hour and we made it to school, right at starting time! We lingered in the class for over an hour and were very grateful that there was no rush for us to leave her. Let me tell you it was HARD walking out of that school! Trust is a major thing to hand over to strangers! Anyways I got a few updates throughout the day. Some good and some difficult for this crazy mom. Im positive she will adjust & love school & love her friends but for today, when asked if she was so excited to go to school again tomorrow, she simply replied, No Thanks Haha Thats my girl 😁
