Today was a bit much to deal with, I learned a friend of mine took her life. My feelings were so mixed I didnt know how to feel. I prayed, I called on uncle Dean Barlese for prayer, I cried, and prayed some more, I did manage to keep it together. The heaviness and heartache that filled the workplace was intense. We were allowed to have our smudge and pray in our own ways, to express ourselves, and to share our memories of Connie. While we were in that circle I could feel the strength of that heaviness and hurt, and I began to feel weak, then someone put their arm around me and patted my back. I looked to see who it was and nobody was there, but they took away a lot of the heaviness I was feeling, and gave me the strength to openly express myself in that room of people. Sending out prayers for comfort and strength, to her family, friends, n loved ones.......
