Today was a bitter/sweet time for me. This is my last Sabbath serving in the capacity of Music Director, and lead instrumentalist. Ive served at the Glenville SDA Church, for 38yrs. As I told them, its been an exhilarating time, like a roller coaster. Weve had are ups…..weve had our downs, but I wouldnt trade my time there, for anything in the world. In the book of Ecclesiates the 3rd chapter and 1st verse it states, To everything, there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heavens. Ive been wrestling with this decision for 2 yrs. Not just because its my church, but also the financial security aspect as well. I know this is Gods doing and his command, and will have to trust wherever he leads. Its scary, but I do have a peace and joy about this next phase of my life. Im so honored and humbled, that this GREAT church, allowed me to serve them as long as I have. Even though Ill no longer serve in that capacity, I hope to serve in other capacities. This isnt good bye, but see you later
