Today was a busy, busy day for us at St. Josephs. Waynes pulmonary tests were much better this morning as well as his cardiac output! Just a small amount of milrinone got his pressure up a significant amount. Dr. says this will boost his energy a lot. He will come home with an IV of that drug while he awaits a new heart! Today the transplant team came together and we started to meet with additional specialist to discuss further tests for qualification. I left him getting a full body scan while I went to Kelleys for a hot shower and to wash clothes. We should get back into a regular room tomorrow once they remove his central line. Thank you all for your prayers. Wayne really needs your support! I will let him know if anyone wants to leave him a message on here. He is busy during the day so he cant answer his phone. Thank You, Lord, for this day, our family and friends! Lord, we have learned to live above our circumstances. Only Your Life in us can empower us to face this endless flow of problems with good cheer. Lord, thank You for the blessings weve received just this week. Lord, we feel The Power of Your Presence.
