Today was a day our family celebrated our grandsons 5th birthday. It was a great party and Noah was the star for the day. Brenda loved her grand kids, she definitely enjoyed their parties. I can recall each gift opened by one of them was accompanied by Thanks Nana I really wanted that! To which she would say Your welcome, thats from Papa too! Then she would smile or laugh. I really miss my bride. I miss everything about her. Touch, smell, laugh, silence and I could go on.... The thing I think I miss the most is her love just for me. I knew she loved me, from her looks my way, to her notes to her saying I trust you... She said that to me while she was in the hospital for the last time, Danny I trust you, whatever decision you make for me, I trust you, I knew she did. You cannot be together 35 years and not be one flesh. I trusted her with my life as well. What a beautiful picture of what love and marriage are to be. God said it is not good that man should be alone, I will make a helper suited just for him. God caused a deep sleep to come upon Adam, and The Lord God took one of Adams ribs and created a woman. Eve was made just for Adam. What a sight that must have been! Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and cleave to his wife and they shall become one flesh. Not two individuals in a contractual agreement, but a covenant that brings about unity of mind, soul and spirit. Its odd at events now, not bad, just odd and strange because my bride isnt there with me to celebrate. Death takes so much away, more than you can possibly imagine. You see things differently, you act differently and as hard as you might try to not notice, you are different, half of you is gone. But God is close to the broken hearted, He must be really close to me at this moment! My heart is broken, but I think its healing. For now Ill just let Brenda know that Noah got his Spider Man web shooter and he was pretty happy. I think I did good Babe. I love you Babe, Ill see you soon.
