Today was a full day at the Cancer Center. Saline lock started at 9 AM then 6 tubes of blood drawn. Then Oncologist visit. He ordered my first set of scans, CT scans etc for Oct 14th. Was hoping for immediate scans, but it is very busy and these were the first available openings. He thinks that I am doing well and believes that the scans will show that. Then back to the infusion center for 4 more blood tube draws then wait for results and next the Zometa infusion. It is now 12:45, I had an appointment with the Dietitian/Nutritionist.at 1:30. She was very helpful with what I should be eating to fight the cancer, suddenly I became extremely tired, so we ended the consultation at almost 3 PM. It was all I could do to walk to the parking lot and put my walker in the car. I drove into the nearest drive thru and ordered a real Dr Pepper. Made it home and boy am I tired. Just got home and my wonderful son stopped by to give me a big hug, several in fact! Love that man! I feel tired, achy, and having hot surges. Think it will be an early night tonight. I promise to be up early tomorrow and chat with ya tomorrow! Hugs and Love
