Today was a fun day...There are four brewers of home made picon in the area. Today we managed to have three of us at my house for a tasting and discussion on the various brews. We missed you Mike Fischer. To culminate the day, I put together a Basque lunch for us to enjoy along with a nice bottle of wine brought by Nelson Muntz. So, who are these folks? There is Jeff Whiteside and his son-in-law Ronald. Also in attendance was Nelson Muntz whos real name I cant divulge because he is part of the witness protection program (JUST KIDDING!!!) and of course...yours truly. The menu was green salad with the Star Hotel egg dressing, Basque garbanzo beans with chorizo and then we had Basque style pork chops made with peppers and onions. It was good conversation and fun for all. And...because I was at home...I could have a few more picons than I would if I were elsewhere. Funny, Im feeling a chair nap coming on.
