Today was a funny day for me. I admit I totally goofed off and I needed it .I took a ride to Waynesboro where St Andrew’s church is where I started my spiritual journey for my RCIA classes to say hello. Father Bateman is the coolest priest I have ever met. So after the grill assembly, a dog bath, a walk for Charlie’s coat to dry and then a check under the hood on the Volvo I decide to open some boxes that were from the NY many years ago. So I find an old multi disc CD player and say what the heck let’s hook it up and see what we have. Wouldn’t you know I press the button and here plays the Chicago album #3 that has I’ve been searching so long, Wishing you were here, If you leave me know, and Another rainy day in NY City. These are hits that were playing on the radio in 1975-76. This was one of the happiest times of my life and it is funny how music puts you right at the moment. It was a good stab and then twist it for me. I wish I was the person I am now back then but, that was not part of his plan for me. Life sure is funny!
