Today was a good day in Joshs life... So, Im walking home from work and I come up on S&T Bank. As Im walking, I see the temperature change from 30 degrees to 29 degrees. Outside of usual work happenings, that was probably the highlight of my day because I had honestly never seen that before. As I pass the sign where the temperature changed, I hear,Hey! Hey, you! Are you a student? At this point, I think, whatever it is youre trying to get me in on, man... forget it. I already have a bank account. Blah blah blah but, I turn my music a bit lower and respond with, no, sir. Im not. Whats up? Now, at this point, Im in the presence of an older man, Id say probably his 60s/70s considering his bright white hair and his skin showed some ageing. He then smiles and says, well sir, The Lord just wanted to let you know that you are blessed today. This man then reaches into his wallet, pulls out this $50 bill, hands it to me, and walks away. All I could get out by the time he got to his car was a thank you because, quite honestly, I was in shock. Im still trying to comprehend that this just happened. Not everyday that I get handed a $50 for nothing. Now, I have never met this man previously and I may never cross paths with him again but, whatever your name is, THANK YOU! Even if it wasnt your own doing and you were, in fact, simply a vessel for Gods will to be done today, THANK YOU! The Lord works in mysterious ways, friends. I believe THIS is proof of that.
