Today was a good day they shut off the sedatives to see how he would react and he started to feel things he didnt like, but the RN told me that would happen and just to talk to him to keep him calm,, he wanted a drink of water but cant have it with tubes down his throat, but they got a sponge on a stick and swabbed his mouth and put cream on his lips, they still want to do a test with a tube going down his throat into his stomach. They most likely will put him back on the sedatives, he was reaching for tubes which isnt good, but they tied his hands down closer. They turn him over every two hours and they work on his back like hitting it to losen up the mucus , there was hardly any in the container, which was good thing, the Drs are very pleased with the way things are going for Jimmy, I told him all those prayers that he is getting is helping him through this. I take each day as it comes and god bless you all for all your prayers and thoughts, it has really helped me so much. The nurses are very good with Jimmy, always checking on him. Thank god for them all.
