Today was a great celebration of neighborhoods, as friends and local residents gathered to help me and Mayor Eric Garcetti spread the word about the Mayors Great Streets Initiative. Volunteers spread out throughout Mar Vista to invite their neighbors to the Great Streets open house (Sunday, January 25, from 9am - 2pm, across the street from the Mar Vista Farmers Market) and then gathered back at Fire Station 62 for some food and entertainment.
