Today was a great day. Got a lot done in my garden. Watched a movie. Went to visit a good friend with an old friend. Had fun with teenagers (I know, right?). Picked cherries.. yes, more. On the way out, as we were getting in the truck, we saw a bear (I know, RIGHT?!) He was about 40 ft from us in the edge of the orchard. We stood there and watched him/her and the gaze was returned. We got into the truck and drove slowly to get the all important picture with our crappy cell phones. BUT, we have proof! Stopped at the farm and cut squash. Went home and hung out on the porch. Played with the dogs.. made dinner (teriyaki salmon, rice, and squash). Now we are settling in from a full day and I am getting excited to do it again tomorrow. I know, not a lot of excitement (except for Mr. Fuzzy), but I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Hope everyone else had a great day too!
