Today was a great day. I found one of my favorite things at one of my favorite spots. And best of all, it took my completely by surprise. I came for a roast veggie bun, and often come for the sweet treats, great pies and Saussie rolls. But today I left with two bahn mi. Grand total $13. (6.50 each - defo in the James BrowN price range). The chicken was roasted and lemongrassy, the pate was rich (possibly a little too rich at the end) - no chilli but I understand them Playing it safe - and a freshly baked roll, just on the edge of crispy.
