Today was a great day. JDs surgery went extremely well, completely smooth sailing, thank God! He woke up from surgery happy as a clam and told his medical staff how much he loves me, that made me feel awesome. I was over the moon just to see him after surgery and then he melted my heart with his half conscious ramblings about how he feels. Today was not about me, not even a little bit, but somehow this amazing man was able to make my day. I am so overwhelmingly blessed to have such a wonderful man in my life. I swear he is my world.
