Today was a milestone. We spent the day helping our older son take his first step in the property owning democracy. After a year of running just to keep up with the crazy house price inflation, Tom took ownership of his own flat in Charlton today. Problem is that he is currently away in Canada so Mum and Dad stepped in to collect the keys. The day was spent in some fairly full-on DIY. New locks fitted throughout. Enjoy the place Tom. Theres nothing quite like going through your own front door, kicking off your shoes and chilling in your own domain.
