Today was a reality check for me. It was a normal morning this morning. Getting everything ready to leave for work. I always wait until the last minute to wake Isaac just because that works best for us! Hope went in his room to wake him and she brought him in the living room. We discovered he had a fever of 102. So I got him stripped down and laid him on Hope because she loves holding him. I started making arrangements for work and then Isaac started seizing. He did for 5-6 minutes (felt like an hour) long enough to realize we are not guaranteed tomorrow. Hope was screaming and asking if he was going to die and then throwing up. I was on the phone with 911 until they arrived in what felt like an hour. We made it to the er. After test came back he has the flu. Probably has had it since Tuesday but his only symptom was a small cough. His fever spiked so fast this am and thats what caused the seizure. I just wanted to share this to remind you that no matter how busy life gets always take time for your family. Hold your kids tight! Thank you God for holding my baby when I couldnt!
