Today was a really good day. Penni and I went to another part of Beijing. I cannot remember the name (14 subway stops). We didnt see any other Americans there and of course, we were an oddity. Lots of stares, some smiles and some people tried to speak to us. We found this neat little restaurant and had kung pao chicken and our favorite string bean dish with pork and lots of seasoning. The people that ran the restaurant were impressed with our skill with chop sticks. It was lots of fun and the best part of going to new places is always the people, the food and the new adventures. Feeling blessed today for the people in my life. Wish Jolene Compton could have gone!
