Today was a red letter day for Newmarkets Republican State Rep. Not only did he vote against paycheck equity, but he also voted against the 4 cent gas tax increase that will net our town $20,487 to help fix our crumbling roads. Luckily, the majority prevailed and both bills passed the House. Im still trying to figure out who he represents. With his votes today, we know its certainly not his women employees or his constituents, who drive our crumbling roads. But if you want to talk about marijuana legalization, I guess hes your guy! I support legalization, but there are more pressing matters. Shame on you, Rep. Schroadter.
