Today was a sad turn of events. My moms situation deteriorated, the infection got worse, and was really detrimental to her kidneys. After consulting with both her doctors and having to make a very difficult decision, it was decided that they had to amputate her left leg below the knee. The operation went well tonight. She was in a lot of pain and discomfort afterwards, but the pain was sedated. A very sad and emotional day. Please keep her in your prayers.
