Today was a salve making kinda day! So since I was making up some roller bottles for pain and a lavender/almond oil healing blend for a couple friends I decided to go ahead and make Camp Wanders Healing Salve and Naked Salve. This stuff is good for any skin conditions; sores, infections, itchy spots, bruises. Its just a great healing salve. The naked salve you can put any essential oil in you want as needed. The recipe is: HEALING SALVE -1cup organic coconut oil (TropicalTraditions) -1 cup organic EVOO -4 T organic beeswax -10 drops SN Lavender - 8 drops SN Lemon - 6 drops Melaleuca per Each oil (all three) per 4 oz jar. Combine oils and beeswax in a big mouth jar. Place jar in a pan of water. Low boil till beeswax is melted 15-20 min. Stir gently with knife. Do not let boiling water get in jar. Remove from heat after wax is melted. Put essential oils in each jar for healing salve. Add melted ingredients to each jar. Stir gently. If you want naked salve do not add oils. Fills 5-4oz jars. Cover with paper towel and let cool. Keep lid on jar tightly after cool. I made two with healing salve and three with just plain salve.(naked). This can replace every OTC meds that you use for infection, scrapes, or burns. If you have questions feel free to ask.
