Today was a special day for our family, especially my dad. He was the guest speaker for Veterans Day at Davids school this moring. I was able to be excused from a couple of classes this morning, so we could support dad as a family. I could tell David was also proud of dad. The Northwood Middle School had a great Veterans Day celebration. The choir performed patriotic songs, they were amazing. I did notice David paying close attention to the pianist. I wonder if he was trying to memorize the keys she was playing. I was in awe how he stood when it was time to say the Pledge of Allegiance, and placed his hand over his heart. Id like to take this opportunity to thank those who have served, are serving now and will serve in the future. Thank you Veterans! A very special thank you to my dad, Sergeant First Class Dewey Price, who retired in 2006 after 35 years of serving our great country. Thank you and we are proud of you!
