Today was a very difficult day. We all know that we are going to lose a love one at some point and time if life, but to see a parent lose their child is so very hard especially at such a your age. I had absolutely not one single word of comfort to offer to her the only thing I could give her was a hand to hold and arms to hold her. So very sad. I am also reminded that during a persons time of lose we spend so many days the first week or two checking on them and then we just move forward with our own lives so I am going to make it a point to call of the friends and families members in my life that have lost a loved one at least once a week to let them know I care about them and that I am thinking about them, because their pain will last forever but hopefully this call will help to add a little sunshine to their life at least once a week. Live your life to the fullest, laugh and cry as often as needed and love your children and family to the fullest everyday. this does not mean you will never be angry and disappointed in them or yourself because we are human. And always always ask for forgiveness and say you are sorry if and when needed and last but not least for me is to make sure to spend a little time one on one with the children everyday getting to know more about them and to let them know just how much you love them and how proud you are of them. Just my thoughts and new goals for life.
