Today was a very happy day, This day was Roxy’s day! After the very latest facebook appeal for a home for this dear older cat, Roxy packed her bags, (and her sofa bed )and left Foal after and amazing 2 years and 10 days in rescue. She had been our longest serving rescue cat that we can remember, patiently waiting for her chance, and today it happened! Gillian paid a visit to Foal at the weekend after seeing our post and gently enquired about Roxy, and from that moment we knew that this was going to be fantastic news for this special girl. Gillian and her husband are not strangers to Foal as they took another special trio Percy. Norma & Maisey from Foal in Dec’13,(sadly Percy passed away in May’14). Roxy has never found life in rescue easy, and introductions either! She is a character to say the least, and misunderstood too, and we are sure that a very different character will emerge in her new home from what she has been like in rescue. We are truly over the moon and thank everyone for their support in sharing our many appeals for Roxy and of course thank this very wonderful couple for making this happen – at last!
