Today was a very humbling and at the same time inspiring day! I rewound life a bit and went to a Miss Louisiana USA appearance with Brittany Guidry! We helped raise a good chunk of money for a very brave 9 year old girl who is battling a rare case of Ovarian Cancer!!! A big thank you to First Louisianas 1st Choice Auto Auction for having us, as I could not be more thrilled to have the honor to be invited and asked to help for such an honorable cause and young lady! Also, thank you all for your amazing effort to help St. Jude and all they do. It is an organization that is very close to my heart! I am humbled because we all get caught up in the hustle of everyday life; but when you look at what some people are battling, you realize how minor some of the things we complain about really are. However, I am inspired at the same time because this little girl is so beyond brave and courageous during this battle that it definitely helps put life into perspective! Unfortunately, we didnt get to meet her in person today; but we look forward to meeting her soon for a day of modeling and fun. Even better, I look forward to watching this little beauty take part in the Miss Louisiana Fantasy Camp and rock the stage like I know she will. Keep that head up sweet girl, you have lots of happy memories ahead!
