Today was a very tough day at work, but surprisingly I finally smiled again.. And it wasnt fake. Customers today were some of the shittiest ones I dealt with.. One even made me cry because I couldnt do anything right in her eyes. I was crying non stop basically all day.. Then a friend, who I havent seen in seriously forever that I used to work with stops by my line with a basket filled with candy, a stuffed animal, and a card. I havent talked to her in months and had no idea she was going to show up. She says it wasnt much, but it was literally everything to me. No one has visited me or talked to me face to face since this has happened.. Just family. And I understand people have jobs and are busy. But that little bit of time that was spent into the basket and the visit, Turned my entire day around. And I havent cried after that. Instead Ive been in such an uplifted mood. I cant thank you enough Emily Piett for being there for me. And I wanted this public so everyone can see what a caring genuine person you are. Thank you for bringing light to my day. The littlest gesture makes the biggest difference. I really appreciate it.
