Today was a wonderful day for a Ranger ride! It added to the anticipation for Spring or even Summer! I welcomed the beautiful Jacks Fork and Current River as I sat and watched the ripples of water flow across rocks and downed trees. In certain parts the water was a bluish green and the sun sparkled like diamonds as it reflected across her beauty. The flood that seemed so terrible to most has cleaned Jacks and Current, just as a Pastor would Baptise someone in the waters to cleanse their soul. Little specks of life are starting to show through the much dreaded winter ugliness that has laid across our land. Through the woods you could see the large icicles that has formed on bluffs. Some seemed to stretch a mile long! Funny how things take form or shape. My... How Ive missed days like this. Seeing the beauty that God has laid before me, a place I call home. I cant imagine never taking that leap of faith to relocate me to what I use to call another world. Im glad he did and Im happy I chose to stay. To make new memories here and to share a lifetime of love. Mississippi you will always be my birthplace but, you can no longer hold my heart the way Missouri does. She brings out adventures like Ive never dreamed and Im blessed in so many ways. Jacks Fork River will always be exactly where I need to be. Hope everyone had a wonderful day!!
