Today was an adventure. And because I was all over the map, I will present this the same. Do not look for segue or any coherence. It will be sadly lacking. Any glue to tie it together is simply your own insanity. That said, I proceed. A house sparrow flew in the window and got stuck upstairs. Kate was convinced it was there to kill her...oh yeah, and it was a starling. After chasing the poor tiny creature back and forth through the upstairs, some small, but relevant part of my brain (wait, I think that was Kates idea) suggested I open a window. Five or six more laps through the upstairs (some peekaboo in the closet) and the sparrow was freed. This took several hours. Tennis practice: why were my brain and body on parallel paths? Is this a Wordsworth poem? Lord Alfred Tennyson? And was that too nerdy for The Book of the Face? And I almost ran out of gas. There just werent any good prices out there. I felt obstinate. Stopping didnt seem part of the plan. Or was it the pollen, which cropped up thick today. And since it was a balmy 82, I shant complain. Sweating is a luxury. Also the animals in my house were bored today. Walter took that boredom to the extreme and knocked down a really cool antique Italian painting in a great frame. I have a new to-do list item now to reassemble the frame and marry it back to the painting. But the end game is that Walter is leap years more awesome than the painting. Although, that is a kickass painting. In my opinion. Night yall.
