Today was an emotional last day of leading worship for me at Wooddale. I was laying in bed last night with many tears flowing and emotions swirling in my brain, when suddenly I came to the realization that although I will miss the incredible band, volunteers, and musical opportunities I have been given, I will still be having powerful experiences like this wherever I go because ultimately, what Im passionate about is the act of worshiping our Lord and Savior. I love the feeling of being in His presence and I will never be without that! So, although it was a sad day, it has also been an incredibly freeing time for me as I have realized that its not about the church or the people (although theyre wonderful); its about serving and giving God the praise wherever I go.
