Today was an exciting day for Miss Jovie :-) she attended her first church service. She was quite the celebrity from the minute we walked in the door. People that we didnt even know were coming up to me and telling me how happy they were to see us and how they had been praying for her. It blew me away. I am so thankful for our church family. We have an amazing pastor that came to the hospital twice just to pray with us and show his support, after they took her back for her surgery the care pointe team came and prayed with us in the waiting room, and just the massive outpouring of love has left me speechless. After church we came home and the home health nurse came by to assess her and check her weight. She was up an ounce since Friday morning. It wasnt as much as I had hoped but at least she didnt lose. The nurse was very pleased with the way her incision looked and said for us to keep up the good work. They will come back on Friday to weigh her again. Tomorrow is her first pediatrician appointment and also my first outing with her and Nora by myself. That venture in itself deserves lots of prayers lol. I was able to get out of the house this afternoon for some much needed me time while the ladies hung out with the hubby. It was only to go to the grocery store, but hey, me time is me time lol. We also got a visit from my amazing sis in law Rachael who took time out of her busy work schedule to make us lots of freezer meals. Tomorrow should be another interesting addition in our lives as we adjust to having three kids. But its all completely worth it!!!
