Today was another fantastic day of activism! First, I met with a group of activists at 8:00am and we handed out vegan leaflets and 700 vegan cookies near a busy subway station. Then I went to University of Toronto with a friend and we handed out more vegan leaflets until 3:00pm. I had three awesome conversations with students who are interested in trying veganism. I only had one person be a little nasty. This morning when I handed a man a leaflet and a free vegan cookie, he threw the leaflet and the cookie into the garbage can right beside me. I said to him, You could have just handed that back to me. Anyway, that wasnt very nice of him, but everyone else was very nice today.
