Today was another great day at Bissonet Plaza Elementary. I visited Ms. Cimos 2nd grade class, Ms. Guiterrezs 5th grade morning and afternoon classes, Ms. Kocsis 3rd grade class, and Ms. Shirleys 3rd grade class. I was so impressed with the students work. In Ms. Kocsis 3rd grade class, they worked on retelling The Gingerbread Man. One of my favorites was The Brownie Man: Run, run, run with chocolate and flour. You cant catch me, I have brownie power! In Ms. Guiterrezs 5th grade morning class, they worked on retelling Cinderella. I thought Cinderfella, set in the Wild Wild West with a rodeo, was very creative! All the classes did remarkable work and it is such a joy to see these children getting excited about writing!
