Today was awesome. As a restaurant owner for 35 years it was a highlight of my career today to meet Frank Oliveri and his son Frank Jr. owners of Pats King of Steaks in Philadelphia. Frank who is 78 told me that he started working at Pats when he was 11 years old. They were surprised at my due diligence on me wanting to be able to reproduce the original philly cheesesteak started in 1930. They told me on a typical weekend they sale 2500 cheesesteaks. I feel confident that our Philly Cheesesteak will be an exact duplicate of their sandwich. They gave me the bakery contact on their sub roll and I have been able to make arrangements to get THEIR same exact roll which makes the sandwich. It is awesome. Getting on a plane but wanted to update everyone and cannot wait until we are serving Authentic Philly Cheesesteak subs just like Pats King of Steaks
