Today was frustrating for me. I have piles , yes piles, (Dave will confirm this) of projects that need to be done. Paperwork for Jon David that needs to filed, called about, or handled in some way. Paperwork for work that needs to be billed, or paid. Home stuff that needs to be fixed,cleaned or put away. And Im not getting ANY of it done! Its driving me crazy! I dont work well when interrupted .......Jon David swears that I have Attention Deficit......and Im beginning to agree with him! Then to top it off everywhere I turn , someone us reminding me that it is only 9-10 weeks to Christmas.......CHRISTMAS! Of course Thanksgiving is only 5-6 weeks away! So when I have a couple days of not being able to get anything done.....Im frustrated and overwhelmed......then of course EVERYONE pays the price! It doesnt help that today was a beautiful day.....and Im inside. Soooooo thats my whine for the day. Jon David wasnt feeling very good today. His shoulder is sore and I think it is from the cooler weather and not stretching enough. He has also been cold all day . Something else is going on though and I cant put my finger on it yet. His body is rebelling a little and showing signs of a mild dysreflexia . One side of his neck and shoulder will get cold and clammy and perspires. Its the bodys response when something is wrong in a spinal patient, and it can be accompanied with high blood pressure if the problem is bad enough. The problem is that a paralyzed persons body cant tell where the problem is......so we have to play detective and figure it out......I wasnt a good detective today.........so Im keeping a close eye. We had a late birthday party / dinner with my in-laws, nieces and nephews at Coltons in Cabot, where my brother in law continues to spoil us. So that was a nice end to an otherwise frustrating day........and I am grateful for the love of my family! Sweet dreams......Ill try not to whine tomorrow. Love, Jacki
