Today was full of more firsts! Rosie had her first ride in the Radio Flyer wagon & loved it! This morning Miss Courtney took her around the unit for a ride & to hang out with the nurses while I worked. Then Nana got a turn to roll her around in the wagon. But the absolute most amazing part was when the Dr. told us we were allowed to take her anywhere in the hospital & across the bridge to Winnie Palmer!! So once Daddy got to the hospital after work we got her all dressed up & took her over to the NICU to visit some old friends! Of course all sorts of people stopped us to get a look at her! Then we rolled her outside for her first breath of fresh air!!! She had this blank look on her face the entire time LOL It was a lot of fun for Jereme & I :) Rosie also got some play time with speech therapy & PT. Her GI Dr witnessed one of her gagging episodes & said she believes it is happening whenever she puts any pressure on her abdomen like when shes trying to poop or pass gas & the pressure when she bears down is pushing things up & making her wretch & spit up. We will have to play around with a few different medicines to see if we cant help that any. They also pulled her feeding tube back to where it is NG or going into her stomach instead of into her small intestines. They want to see what she does with food in her belly & then decide from there the course we should take for feeding her. It was a very exciting day
