Today was indeed a good day: some 200,000 people in over 100 - TopicsExpress

Today was indeed a good day: some 200,000 people in over 100 localities across Ireland came together and marched as one to declare our #right2water as a human right and to demand the repeal of the Water Services Act (2013), which would scrap of the hated #watercharges. Humbled to be a part of a real n genuine mass movement of true people power - by the sheer numbers taking to the streets over the 3 weeks Ireland, with a population of a little over 4 million, must be witnessing one of the biggest movements against austerity the world has seen in recent years. Tomorrow Ill post a couple of the photos that I took throughout the day today but for most of the local and then city centre protest I was too busy busting my vocal chords to think about pics but my comrades stepped in & snapped away! So tomorrow we will have some images from Dublins beautiful northside on what was yet another historic day, a day which saw a people on the move, a truly magnificent sight to behold.
