Today was mine and Steves 35th wedding anniversary. He surprised me Monday night and took me out to celebrate then because he had a work commitment today. Honestly, when we got married, I literally went into it thinking I wonder how long will this last? I had that thought because of the way my life was before meeting Steve. I had no reason to believe any good thing could last. But his thought was Till death do us part. I was willing, but not convinced that was possible. Now I believe! We have a wonderful life together. We dont just exist with each other, we share a lifelong love. God graciously has joined my life with Steves and what I lacked, He brought it to me through Steve and what Steve needed in his life, came to him through me. We have learned how to love in spite of our many differences... and it has worked for our good. This might not sound romantic, but I cant imagine a better life, nor being more happy. Its been a perfect marriage, definitely made in heaven, (without the perfection being perfect) - lol, and I wouldnt have it any other way.
