Today was my first day back to work. Oh how I missed those sweet little ones. When I look back at where I was 3 months ago from today, I praise God. He is so good to me. 3 months ago, I was in ICU in Septic Shock. My sister told me the other day that she nor Mark expected me to make it out of that hospital. Glad she waited until this weekend to share that with me!! LOL! I couldnt walk, I couldnt swallow, I could barely get a breath. Thank you Jesus for not leaving me, and for carrying me through the darkest days I have ever faced. Even during those times when things werent going right, You never left me. I had 3 children that go to our church stop me and ask me if they will see me this Sunday at church. I told them if I make through this week without anyone sharing their germs with me, I will be there. Funny how those sweet little faces can convict you. I couldnt tell them about the fevers and skin rash that I got from too many antibiotics, nor about how all I could do for the past month is sleep. All I could do was look into their precious little faces and tell them that I promise I will be there. Man, I missed these kids. They are the glue that keeps me together until my own kids make it home from college. Their innocence is refreshing! Thank you all for all of your prayers, love, and encouragement. This has been a very long journey for our family, and I give all the glory to God and His Son for this day!
