Today was not so good, Rick was upset about something. Hes so concerned about others all the time. Hes worried about his mom, but his sibs are bringing her down to see him. So that wasnt it. Hes trying to get all his ducks in a row - as the saying goes. He keeps giving our sons little quests to complete. He so worried about me. But Ill be okay. We have so many loving friends calling, texting, praying, sending cards, flowers, food and notes. I read all the posts to him every day. All his frat brothers, those memories have bought smiles to his face. Thank you all for those smiles. Some of you have asked when you can come visit. Just call me and Ill ask him if hes up for a SHORT visit. Just a warning , he falls asleep a lot. Also sometimes he doesnt even feel like talking. But the doctor put him on another drug that is supposed to give him a little more energy. He has 3 more radiation treatments next week. Then we wait 2 weeks until the next scan. That will tell us if the radiation worked. Sorry, I do ramble on, we both are so exhausted. Sometimes I cant think. Anyway, thank you all for all the supportive encouragement youve all send to us.
