Today was one of the hardest days of my life. As I was on the road of my planned family vacation to Tennessee, I received word that my loving Grandfather did not survive a simple procedure in the hospital. I had it in my head to visit with him when I came back from vacation and that will not happen. Please hold your loved ones close and extra tight because you never know if that will be the last time. I feel horrible that I am 1000 miles away from my family during this. I tried to reschedule my prepaid vacation because of this emergency and the rental place denied even a partial refund :( My Grandfather was a man of God and wanted to go with the Lord and leave his pain behind. I am thankful to God that just 2 days ago he came to visit me which he never does and I gave him a kiss on the cheek that will be forever remembered. I know he is with Jesus in Paradise today! Love you Gramps.
