Today was one of the toughest days I had to deal with. At no time have I thought about having a young mans freedom be taking away. My purpose in this career was one goal. Help change and educate the youth to rise above the statistics and racial stigma that casts over them. As a father, a parent , us as a community must understand the value of shaping the lives of the youth. Especially the ones you create. No amount responsibility should push you away from your duties as a parent to rise your child. Today proved to me how many young black males are falling into the judicial system. How many have no hope insight. Due to the lack of guidance and love. The young man today - 15 years old and knows more about Juvenile system than anything else. I watch this young man have no fear in his heart or emotion be taking away, due to his priors ... I was more disappointed cause I had a heart to heart Conversation with the young man at the start of year and he promised to do better. Sad situation! I couldnt be more disappointed than I am now ....
