Today was our annual Southeastern Greyhound Club field trip to a Greyhound track. This year we chose Ebro Greyhound Park near Panama City, FL because the track emphasizes the spectator experience, and because many of our adoptable Greyhounds come from Ebro. We toured the Ray Thurber racing kennel and also visited the on-site Sunburst Project adoption kennel. The track management rolled out the red carpet for us and named the seventh race the Southeastern Greyhound Club race. Here we are with the winner of the race, Martin Garcia, running for the Thurber Kennel and trained by Brenda Levesque.
