Today was our camp show highlighting how much campers have accomplished at camp this week. We welcomed parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters and friends to the farm. There were quite a few jittery nerves ( with both campers and parents!) as the riders got their horses fed, stalls mucked out then horses groomed, tacked up and ready to go! Thanks to our judge, Maddy Anderson, who had quite a hard job pinning the riders in each class! Riders were judged based on their completion of each required task at their ability level. Very soon the campers nerves gave way to pride and confidence in their performance, showing how much they have accomplished during their week at camp! We hope you parents noticed how comfortable your daughters are with their horses and how much they have learned this week! After the show, the horses were groomed, given treats and taken to their stalls. Lunch was a celebration of a job well done AND campers celebrated Juliannes birthday! ( its tomorrow) ! All week long Mrs. Scanlon has been taking pictures of our week at camp. Today each camper was given a packet of pictures and campers made a collage canvas as a memory of a great week at camp!
