Today was pretty fruitful. I got much written but I am not sure how much I will keep and how much I will rewrite. I got 4 pages done on my vampire story. 5 pages done on my zombie story. 11 pages on my fantasy story. I got the first draft done of a poem about prayer. I wrote a really mean but true blog post about an annoying guy on the phone at a Sushi restaurant which I need to tone down before I post. In between all this writing, I watched the pilot of The Leftovers and posted about it. I watched an episode of Halt and Catch Fire and an episode of Rectify. What else? I drank a whole carafe of coffee. I made a dozen biscuits and ate half of them with butter and jam. I stretched out my back and did what I call “fat man yoga” for about 20 minutes but my back still feels a little tight from sitting down writing all day. I updated the software on my iTunes and iPhone and I listened, while writing, to the full albums by Hozier and The Low Anthem. I baked a chicken breast and made a tasty plate combined with carrots, peas, and sweet corn. I also spent some time writing on different threads on Facebook. I will now shower, brew some tea, and maybe watch a movie or read before bedtime. Tomorrow I work later in the afternoon. Single life is great. No children in the house is great. I do want a dog. My glucose level was normal all day. A nice breeze swept through the open windows of the apartment and stirred up some dust but not much. I think I will get another cactus or a fish. I did not go out and pick up the mail. Oh well, tomorrow is another day.
