Today was remarkable. At 52 years old, I got to do an incredible athletic event that challenged me and thrilled me, at every turn. I LOVE that stuff. But the best part wasnt the what, it was the who and the why. Our team consisted of men and women of all ages and abilities, with one thing in common: weve all been touched in some way by The Herren Project. Some have even benefited directly from the mission, and did this event as a way to give back. Thats better than good. This team raised over $12,000 with todays event alone, with all of it going to help more people, more kids, more families avoid, or recover, from addiction. The benefits from days like today go far beyond medals and personal accomplishments. Im hopeful, inspired and exhausted! 😊
