Today was rough. I do not like to complain about work here, because I know that I am lucky to be able to work. But let me clarify something.... no one deserves lack of respect at a job, from your boss, or from other people in your life. I have been there two years, the management is a revolving door, but the current one is not my cup of tea. Every time I question, or bring up an issue or suggestion, I get shoved under the rug. Some of the other people discuss the same things in my presence, and suddenly it becomes something important to discuss. I have had it. I am done crying, stressing, giving my all despite the lack of support I have. No one deserves to be disrespected in any situation. I try so hard to see life differently since I got sick. I try not to judge based on what things appear to be. Dont get me wrong, I read people like a book and I see you for what you are in about five minutes, but I try not to judge you before I know who you are. I have a lot of passion and compassion for people, especially those who struggle. I have tried for a while to find something that fulfills me. Something more in tune with what I believe in. I have not done so well with this, but I am going to take another crack at it. My message to you, dont let shitty people eat you alive. You ARE important. You DO matter. If you do not hear it from anyone else, you hear it from me- Happy-ish Friday ~Ali Cat
