Today was such an awesome day. Bae, aka David Harris-Cane aka my husband ministered to my soul and sang in church today, my friends celebrated my pre-birthday celebration and took me out to brunch, and Im just arriving home from watching a great movie Gone Girl. Like seriously I couldnt have asked for a better weekend. Well fam next Friday I will be heading home to Los Angeles, CA to celebrate my 36th birthday. My husband bought me a plane ticket as a birthday gift and felt it was time for me to finally head home. Since my Dad passed on October 18, 2010, I left his funeral and decided I didnt want to see California for a very long time. So its been 3 years, 11 months and 17 days but whos counting. Well, the time has come for me to face the music, head home, see my Mom, Step-Dad, older sister, baby sis Kamari Hollingsworth and the rest of my familia. I cant believe I have 3 nephews and 3 nieces that I have never met. It hurts my heart when they asked my Mom if I had passed away, because I never come home. So Dad if your looking down on me, Im finally coming home. I dont know if Im ready to visit your grave site, but I want you to know your only son is a married man now. I really wish you were alive to meet my husband, you would love him to pieces. You know Im a handful, but he holds me down!!!!! Love Always, Bwood, Brent or plain ol B!
