Today was the Rhode Island USBC All-Events Tournament, with every junior program throughout the state in attendance - plus family & friends. We are just a couple days removed from Team USA Trials where two of our own became the very FIRST to EVER earn a spot on Junior Team USA in our states history. We also received three National Honors that were a states FIRST - two of our youth bowlers ended with the 2013-14 Highest USBC Standard AVERAGES plus one had the Higest Youth SERIES and NEITHER of these amazing accomplishments were mentioned at todays Ocean State event. I just cant believe that we spent the entire day in a building from 9am to 5pm bowling singles, doubles and teams with no announcement prior to any of the three events. I was just handed the national awards in their boxes (see photo) behind closed doors. Maybe its just me but i feel like there should have been some type of celebratory gesture done today by our states association on behalf on these young athletes and there national achievements with those present in the bowling center. Am i wrong (speak). Coach Marty Jones
